なぜ「質素な社会」か？　Why we need simple society？
　
・新たな油田などが発見されない場合、エネルギー源は２１００年頃に枯渇する。
・２１００年以降のことを考えると、新しいエネルギー源（新エネ）を開拓するか、省エネ技術の開発・普及をする必要がある。
・要するにこれからの社会は全体として、エネルギー・資源の制約から節約型の質素なものにならざるを得ない。
・そこで、質素な社会での生き方について今から考えようというのがこのコーナーだ。

※ ただし、石油は１０００年もつという説もある。

・If new oilfield is not found, energy source will deplete around 2100.
・ So we have to develop new sources of energy (new energy) or promote energy
conservation technology.
・ The essence of the future society as a whole will be modest things inevitably by
energy-saving constraints .
・So now I consider lifestyle for the modest society in this corner.

※However, there is a theory that ｗe use oil for 1,000 years.
